I'm not sure how much that bar weighs so I went on the assumption of it weighing 45 lbs. I got 5 45s and a 2.5 on each side

I dunno bruh...lower back aint nothin to play with..especially as you get older...especially with all that weight....personally I hate doing dead lifts and squats...the whole motion is just uncomfortable...
You might want to work on your form. I used to HATE them too cause I always left the gym in pain but once someone taught me correct form I was good. My CrossFit coaches had me working with an empty bar until they felt my form was good.
And with the bar I used in this vid, it keeps a lot of strain of my lower back.
Good job breh my DL lookat 215 right now!

I know what u mean, got the same affliction, but I'm 6'1. It'll be worth it, being able to pick up my next shorty with ease, no matter how much she ways.... within reason if course.Heaviest chick I ever picked up in a bear hug was about 210. And my back was done. I'm tryna squat her for sets by next year.
