John Madden is 85 years old. I think he left the booth before his mind started to go too. I think he just wants to enjoy his money and family before he leaves this mortal coil. He's blessed with about almost 50 years football experience and knowledge. Here are his virtual flowers.

They were great. The only one that I think is close is Keith Jackson and Bob Griese, largely on the strength of Jackson. I watched way more college football than pro growing up and Jackson is a part of the soundtrack of my childhood.
