It was a privately owned company. Also it used to be 1 15 minute break but they ended up giving us 5 more minutes.

Nah. I had a job welding on John Deere excavators. By all means a “grown up” job. It was the same way. I honestly think it’s more of a salary threshold where the bullshyt changes. Once I started making more money and became salary all that “breaks” and stuff went out of the window and I can do what I wanna do.

i haven’t worried about that since I worked at the radisson hotel before I started my career. I get an hour ”break” but i get to chill a lot during the day unless some major news is happening. I can’t imagine going back to having straight up 30 minute breaks where the boss is watching your time. Thats some sad shyt
