A little appetizer I made quick while I was waiting on the eggs to boil and the dressing to mend.

Fresh Mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil. I drizzled a lil olive oil and balsamic vinegar over it. Salt/pepper.

:whoo:Caprese salad
Did you throw those in the skillet to melt the cheese?
:ohhh: I never thought of that.

:leon: I didn't but thats sounds like a good idea maybe I'll give that a try next time.

Have you tired a balsamic reduction on it as well? :lawd:. The sweetness of the balsamic makes all the difference on it.

Here's a pic of one I did awhile back with the balsamic reduc.

Melting fresh mozzarella is just going to ruin the texture, scumbags. Last thing you want to do in a caprese.

With out getting too fancy and keeping it quick.. Just broil it. Its the healthiest way to eat it. Season it the way you like 3 mins on each side. Thats quick and easy.

If I'm running low on time I'll season it with some Lawry's or garlic pepper or lemon pepper. Done.

I've only eaten lambchops, never large portions of lamb. Is it dry?

Not at all breh. The 2 things that work for me is cooking at a low temp 350 degrees and using a meat thermometer to pull it out the oven anywhere between 130-135 degrees.

I got this damn flu bug that's going around but hopefully I feel better enough to chef up something new tomorrow
