I know this wasnt directed at me ,but I suggest following simple recipes at first or watching YouTube videos. I learned by watching my grandmother in the kitchen and my son learned because I have him help in the kitchen

This is how I started. Didnt know how to make anything and started learning from YT. I learn the most when I mess up a recipie

If you had a dish thats your favourite, Google the recipes and start there as well as the advice from @Pseudonym. You already know more or less how u like the dish to taste, so work on mastering one of those. When u google recipes, find a few of the same dish and compare them and choose the best one. Is there any specific skills you need help with?
