Of course Sosa was the smarter gangster, but more people will connect with someone like Scarface. Sosa was so smart with his shyt, wouldn't be enough interesting drama happening. A Sosa movie would be comparable to something like the Godfather. You know how many times nikkas told me that Scarface was better than the Godfather
Accept the Godfather probably came from some sort of struggle... Probably came from immigrant parents, etc...
Sosa's character is based off a druglord that was rich his entire life.. No struggle whatsoever....

This is why a Sosa film would have been so much better. We need reality in our films. There are still struggles and perils for a man of his stature that you can write. It doesnt necessarily have to be gunfights but him outwitting people in his camp who want to take his crown, outwitting law enforcement at high levels. Outwitting idiots like Tony Montana during a break at a business conference. So many ways you can break down the game with a character like Sosa. Unfortunately we're only left with a predictable story like Phony Montana, the most disloyal loser in the history of film. He was disloyal to every single person who gave him work.
Druglords arent usually born rich. Thats whos life i want to see. Not Phony Montana. One of the fakest good guy turns in the history of film. Im not killing no kids *shoots his bosses hitmen* Been sniffin that ish too much got his punk self TOUCHED!

I agree. I love more subtle gangster movies that portray more then violence and drugs and shyt. But I was speaking from a business standpoint. But we need movies like Scarface too. Art imitates life, and please believe it's some wreckless gangsta nikkas out here wiling just like him, and they end up like him too
