I went on the hbcu college tour in high school. We visited maybe 15 colleges from Morgan State University all the way to Bethune Cookman.

We stopped at Edwards Water College in Jacksonville. What a shytty campus. Completely lied on their advertisement about beach 30min away. That shyt was 3hrs away.

Terrible class rooms and cafeteria. Just straight up broke ass school.

Was in the dorm and you look out the window and the view was another brick building.

Hilarious talking about a school in Jacksonville offering 5m in scholarships cuz the way that school lookec i doubt they have 5mil to offer in scholarships to 20 incoming freshmen

It was a church that arranged this. My dad signed me up for it.

I didn't wanna do it. I wanted to enjoy my spring break. I'm glad he pushed me to go.

It's about 60 high school kids on a bus traveling from Detroit visiting HBCUs staying in hotels for about 10 days.

We visited maybe 15 colleges. It was heavily chaperoned but you ain't stopping horny teenagers lol. We on the back of the bus wilding.

But visiting all those schools made me want to attend an HBCU

As I get older I realize labels get nikkas like this and these are the nikkas who end up being the “face” of black people in America..these entertainers who are seen all over the world are the representation we have in world media..nikkas like this get the push on mainstream entertainment and asked the questions about politics, police brutality, and black life in general for the world to think this is the typical black man in America..I still like rap but look at rappers that are dumb like this one way differently when it clicked for me WHY they have fame that is given..they want the ones that’s thinking jewelry and clothes cars bytches with the 360 deal passing on the ones thinking 60/40 70/30 even 55/50 deals where you know your worth
