We need Anthony Edwards in more movies

Dude's clearly a star off the court and on. I remember thinking that the dude's a complete idiot and didn't love the game before he got drafted and not only did he prove me wrong basketball-wise but his role here shows me he's business savvy too. Salute to him

I don't know why but the thing that irked me most about this movie was Sandler's character taking the kid to meet The Professor to work on streetball moves.


It's not a bad movie. I was entertained. It shows a love for the game which is admirable. It's missing that it factor that movies like Above the Rim and He Got Game have imo.

I didn't see it that way. He just wanted him to get some shifty-ness in his handle and some stop n go on a dime in his footwork. That's how I saw it.

Ha, what the fukk. We see that shyt all the time in cheerios and car commercials. Did he say why?

I feel like this could have been a better without all of the forced cameos.

I gotta echo the sentiments regarding Anthony Edwards. Had no idea he could act going into this and boy was I blown away. Loved his performance.

Very enjoyable, albeit predictable, movie.

adam sandler can make good movies when he's not relying on his formulaic slapstick bullshyt. this as well as uncut gems were obviously very good recent sandler movies.
