Yup. The curvature of the east coast of FL means hurricanes usually hit south FL and just move up the Atlantic ocean til they hit SC.

You usually don't see a pattern like this one. Looks like it's gonna hug the whole southeast US coast like a buzzsaw.

Everyone is split on this storm. Half my neighbors friends are staying put and think everyone is blowing things out of proportion. The other half are fleeing to the west coast of Florida and saying this is going to be the worst storm in decades.

Category 4 ain't nothing to play with....Better to go to the West coast where at least you know you'll have power and some food options when the storm passes for the next few days.
