The navy didn't evacuate the base in Key West.
They're all holed up in a cat 5 safe hotel
So they can immediately reopen the airfield when the storm ends
For help to come.

I think they even take the ships out of port to get them away from the piers

Yup i remember i missed a concert cause a hurricane was getting close so they made us get underway.

We have double film high impact windows but I didn't put any sand bags behind the sliding door. Our community is 65 feet above water though. Lotta people not doing anything in our community anyway.
