Riptide / Tsunami type of shyt... like when the coast water drains it comes back in huge tidal wave... The storm might be pulling in water as it moves closer then is gonna dump all the water it pulled in back. I believe... Tsunami's work on the same principal. although tsunami's are started by earthquakes
