SC governor has delayed his presser about mandatory evacuations 1.5 hours probably because he's not sure about those models. Hugo was devastating for Charleston.

That 130+ wind is gonna extend out about 80b miles now which is about half the width of Florida. Irma just completed EWRC the eye is clearing up, and while she weakened during that process she grew in size and will now strengthen back up again while being a larger storm. 130+mph winds won't just be felt around the immediate eyewall. This storm is a beast like we haven't sent before.
