Being honest, unless it's like a cat 4-5 people native to the south just ride em out for the most part... It's just one of those weather anomalies when staying in a particular area...like myself I'm near the Carolina coast so I'm used to em myself...plus most are prepared with general stuff like water,batteries, and generators by this point...

I live in Columbia SC. Yeah it's fukked up because eventually one of these storms are going to do some real damage. But after years of warnings about storms that are going to destroy everything then it's just a heavy rainstorm people stop taking it serious. I remember flying back to Miami during one of the big storms and had to drive back home. I was scared as shyt and we was driving straight home making as few stops as possible. That storm ain't do shyt.
