Central Florida area just about 21% outage, probably will get fixed today, other areas like where it landed Fort Myers’s/Naples going to be days, hopefully not weeks.

News people saying since it was moving slowly, going to be worse. For most probably and if you’re in a flood prone area. For Central Florida probably better, had plenty of time to weaken. If it zipped thru, probably would have been hit harder
So I was completing wrong on that one. I
Just had minor damage loose pool screens, small section of wall puffed up, some water for behind

But it turns out a lot of people in my area have their homes flooded. We have a Facebook community page with about 18,000 members and lots are posting pics up. First time flooding for most

Then have a rental i keep an eye on for parents and they sent me video of the place being flooded. Retention ponds overflowing , streets flooded. Have another rental in same area, haven’t heard from them yet. Feel bad for them, great people. Have to figure out how to get that all handled

The rule about hurricanes is a 3 and above, you better get out of the way, especially if you are anywhere near the coast.

Sounds like people didn't take this as serious as they should have.

It didn't help that the forecast for this was really messed up too...everywhere was focusing on Tampa and this came in further south so I think it caught a lot of people off guard....

I've got family in Clearwater who evacuated and they said looking at the cameras they didn't see much damage so they're hoping to get back home today or tomorrow...

So other than the coastline this storm was a flop? They were predicting devastation but didn't have much to show on the news

All things considered that's pretty good that it weakened and fell apart quickly

Nah didn't flop at all...just avoided a major city....like I said the sheriff of the county where it hit is already reporting 100s of fatalities....so if that verifies this is gonna be one of the deadliest hurricanes on record...
