There’s a chance that Isaac could get sheared out due to the influence from Florence, it’s expected to be downgraded to a Tropical Storm in the coming days.

When it come to Hurricanes fukk them "chances".

Harvey was supposed to die out too...

Florence wasn't even supposed to make landfall in the US....

USA TODAY: Thousands ordered evacuated ahead of 'life-threatening' Hurricane Florence.
Hurricane Florence: Evacuations begin ahead of 'life threatening' storm

They starting evacuations already. Y'all be careful there.

Is the wind projections accurate or could there be any currents or streams or whatever they're called that can steer this off course?
Never heard about Dare County found some interesting facts when I looked it up.
Named after Virginia Dare first English child born in the "New World".
For some residents of North Carolina, she has been an important symbol of the state and the desire to keep it predominantly European-American. In the 1920s, a group that opposed suffrage for women feared that black women would get the vote. One group in Raleigh, North Carolina urged "that North Carolina remain white ... in the name of Virginia Dare".[12] Today, Virginia Dare's name is used for the VDARE website which is associated with white supremacy,[13][14][15] white nationalism,[16][17][18] and the alt-right.[19][20][21] Anti-Immigration in the United States: A Historical Encyclopedia describes VDARE as "one of the most prolific anti-immigration media outlets in the United States" and states that it is "broadly concerned with race issues in the United States".[22]

With Dare County being 92.3% CACS I am sure the Klan got a post up that way.

Well it’s going to pass over the Gulf Stream (very warm body of water) that could strengthen the storm even further (no mention of Cat 5 yet) but nothing so far that can limit this storm.

If it makes landfall as a projected Cat 4 it would be the strongest landfalling Hurricane in North Carolina’s history.

I know you mentioned that winds travel northwest earlier in the thread. I'm just hoping there's not a southwest wind out there that'll veer this off course in the coming days. :merchant:

Just cuz you outside the cone don't mean you can let your guard down. Not until this motherfukking hurricane is dead and gone. :francis:

My grandmamas house suffered major damage after the last hurricane that hit the Carolinas. The flooding caused water to get all in her house, and she’s just getting shyt back right. That storm fukked up most of Lumberton, and it looks like they’ll be taking a major hit again.

My mom and dad in the middle of NC, so they’ll just get lots of rain.

I'll pray for her bruh...I know how older folks get as lord knows how many storms came through back in the day and my grandma would tell me and my cousins to be quiet so the lord can do his work, but the way this is looking she might need to leave

I expect cat 5 by the 5pm advisory

Looks like recon found 165 mph winds, should be a Cat 5 shortly

Yea, that’s exactly how my granny is/was. Appreciate the prayers.

My pop and I getting her outta there, though. Flying her to NY to stay with relatives for a few weeks, and when the storm is done, I’ll hit her crib up to asses the damage, if there’s any. Them coastal Carolina cities about to get hammered. Even cities inland, like Columbia and Fayetteville look to get hit pretty hard with hurricane force winds.
