Juwan is going to have to bench DeVante Jones. It's over. There is no spacing within the offense when he tries to run it. Kid is just too slow off the bounce and can't beat his man off the dribble. Can't shot or finish at the rim at this level. He is basically Jaron Simmons 2.0 before Xavier Simpson took his spot. Also they don't have any 3 point shooters outside of Eli. Teams are now just doubling Hunter and forcing others to making threes and nobody can consistently make them. Defense is also a mess right now.

I think the talent is there, the problem is the team has no confidence and its getting worse by each game.
As this game was going on, I was thinking about past michigan teams and realizing over our last 3-4 seasons, Jones could NOT start for NONE of those michigan teams. Can't underestimate how spoiled we were at the point guard position. People talked shyt about Smith's lack of size on the defensive end but he was a DOGG that could create his own shot and get people involved. Houstan has been inconsistent and dikkinson can bring it but he's frustrated as well.
To me the struggles right now are on the coaching staff. They have to figure out the Point and wing positon. I think right now Purdue is much better than us, but we may compete for an at large bid towards the end of the season.(possibly)
Seven games in, this rotation is what it is and its not working. Right now Jawaan has built up some clout from previous years and Michigan fans are on on cloud 9 because of the football team so people aren't paying attention..
But over these 7 games so far, watching this team has been Master P shoe level UGLY.....
