Watched it today and was expecting it to be utter trash and in vain of The Twilight films, however I thought it was pretty good :leon:, it actually has me wanting to watch the next one.

Johanna :jawalrus::takedat:

Aquaman :salute:

However the ending was far too abrupt, I was expecting another 15-20 minutes after
Katniss shut down the dome/arena
but then it just ended, I was like :what:, reminded me of how The Matrix Reloaded ended, I know it's meant to be a cliffhanger ending however it should have been done better.

I'll go back and check out the first one, was it any good?

Just saw it. Thought it was cool.

But something caught my eye...
when my mans from the black district put up the revolution sign, he got beat and shot. When katniss family do it, nothing happen. Oh, I see you

:mjpls:

now that i think about it dude tackles a guard gets whipped... Cinna makes a dress and get murked :beli:... Cism :mjpls:
:deadrose:

It was good. But Peeta's character irks me. He's a whiny little bytch throughout the whole film and is basically useless.
Really though, I think that makes it "realer" than if he was some badass killer. Truthfully, most people would be Peeta. Useless. Homie made bread for a living. He painted in his spare time. And he wouldn't have gotten through the first games if Katniss was a grimy broad.

:snoop: Nikkas ain't never satisfied. How about being appreciative that people that look like us are in the movie. Twilight and Harry Potter were filled with pale, white faces....white people here, white people there, white people everywhere in the movie while in Hunger Games there's diversity. There's five important black characters.

Cinna's dresses made Katniss the most memorable girl on tv and the Mockingjay dress he made for her was an outright defiance of the Capitol, showing millions of people around the country the revolution was coming.

Thresh saved Katniss from getting killed by that crazy b*tch in the arena.

Rue gave Katniss the idea to push the bee's nest and watched her when she was knocked out.

And Beetee's idea helped Katniss destroy the arena and start the revolution.

Had this been ANY other movie series, all those characters woulda been white. and pale. and blonde. and blue eyed. So chill with the cism talk. That author did not have to make those people black but, she did :beli: I don't know if you read the third book but, ALOT of people die. And they all die in fukked up ways. And they're all white. Will you cry cism then? :beli: And Beetee survived. He got stabbed repeatedly by that guy. That's why he was unconscious.
I got the impression that they were being facetious, breh. I don't think they meant any of that. :yeshrug:

I just watched this film over the weekend and I gotta say, I liked it, Someone mentioned how over the tip the society was and that made it implausible. I see it the opposite, I can definitely see some shyt akin to this happening. Our society already has hunger game type shyt going on. And the part where homie tried to give Peeta that drink so he could vomit and continue eating is based off of some real shyt. The Romans used to do that. That type of stuff isn't beyond the pale at all.

Overall, I thought it was a decent flick. Cosign the homie who gave it 3.5/5 stars. I'm actually looking forward to the next one (I know, I shouldn't), and I might actually check the books out.
