I’m high af Listening to this Mystery of Chess boxing after watching this series. So this just fan theory based off the show. Why do I now feel Rae and Ghost we’re going at each other. :ohhh:

Or at least I hope they were going at each other on some Park Hill vs Stapleton legacy beef.

Especially “D-Love” “Arsonists” :demonic: verse.

Rough like Timberland wear, yeah
Me and the Clan in 'Yota Landcruisers out there
Peace to all the crooks, all the nikkas with bad looks
Bald heads, braids, blow this hook
We pack chrome TEC's, nickel-plated MAC's
Black AC's, drug-dealin' styles in phat stacks
I only been a good nikka for a minute though
'Cause I got to get my props and win it, yo
I got beef with commercial-ass nikkas with gold teeth
Lampin' in a Lexus, eatin' beef
Straight up and down, don't even bother
I got 40 nikkas up in here now who kill nikkas' fathers

Speakin' of the Devil, psych!
No, it's the God, get the shyt right
Mega trife, and yo, I killed you in a past life
On the mic while you was kickin' that fast shyt
You reneged, tried again and got blasted
Half-mastered-ass style, mad ruff task
When I struck I had on Timbs and a black mask
Remember that shyt? I know you don't remember jack
That night, yo, I was hittin' like a spiked bat
And then you thought I was bugged out, and crazy
Strapped for nonsense, after me became lazy
Yo, nobody budge while I shot slugs
Never shot thugs, I'm runnin' with thugs that flood mugs
So, grab your eight plus one
Start flippin' and trippin', nikkas is jettin', I'm lickin' off, son

Not gonna lie... this show moves slow as hell. I feel like they could’ve cut out shyt like the auntie, the naughty radio interview, etc. Like we get the point... RZA wasn’t feeling a lot of the radio moves.

I’m a Wu fan but I feel like if this wasn’t about the Wu and just some fictional shyt, people would have more criticisms.

I feel like the show has increased tenfold now that RZA's family is in Ohio. Episodes 4 and 5 and coming out weekly had me shook.

Their trying to go multiple seasons and I actually appreciate the attention to detail that there doing with this series. Think about all the bullshyt that most Hip Hop “biopics” go through. Look at Notorious and All Eyes On Me. Just awful, rushed, monstrosities that weren’t worthy of the subject matter.

I feel like they are actually treating this series seriously and really trying to tie in the origins and mythology of the Wu. Im here for it

In the Silver Lining
Clan In Da Front intro about to be all types of fukked up :francis:

:russ:

Rzay-rector

I respect the actor trying to pull off this role, but he just doesn't have the physical presence or gravitas of Rza. All the other actors somewhat match the physical presence of the rappers they're portraying.

This episode was good, just showing all the different aspects a newcomer to the music biz in the 90s was dealing with.

Everybody with beepers is a trip. Im ready to see Rae holding a brick size cellphone :mjlol: like he does in early Wu Tang video.

Tommy Boy unknowingly saved rzas career by scrapping the original Ohhh We Love u Rakeem......with that beat, its a hit. Wu Tang never exists.

So you saying the original beat was a hit?? Or second version?

nah but I know that it aint no coming back from being a shermhead. how u think Rza and Divine got over on dude? it sure as hell aint cause hes p*ssy.

You think they gone show the dust usage??

Oh, trust me I KNOW. One of my main homies used to live in Stapleton back in the days and when I was out there chillin wit them nikkas some of the stories I heard about Ghost was straight wild. Certified goon. One of the nikkas we used to chill with didn't like us playing Ghost music in the whip cause apparently Ghost knocked him out one day just cause he was having a bad day :russ:

Like Cam'ron said: Ghost gotta be Top 5 cause he one of the elite, legendary MCs that you can actually believe his raps because he was straight gooning back in the day. Can't really say that about too many goon rappers that are also regarded as elite level MCs. He's there with nikkas like DMX and Beanie Sigel.
brief Wutang and Wu affiliates short information about their hustling days
