I think you may be right. Initially they promoted it as a mini-series, but more likely being set up as a multi-season thing. They may move OH to NY tho

That's a testament to this shyt being more realistic than most shows/movies about rappers nikkas want the highlights instead of the real story. Even with the embellishments mixed in (like Rae shooting up Ghost house never really happened), RZA giving you the real version of what happened to form the Wu.

I appreciate this series keeping it real instead of showing ducktales/major exaggerations/the highlights.

Most of our lives are super bland, this is 100% more action packed than the average American life lol

this post here is going to get me to watch this.

I avoid most movies/tv shows for this reason.
No development...just explosions and bullshyt.

They gotta end on a stronger note than that... or these casuals gonna give up on this series. Look at all the marketing money being put into this show. Plus it's the 25th anniversary. Hype is at an ALL TIME HIGH. They gotta finish strong cuz the hype aint gonna be as big next season.

Nah, that would actually be perfect. Casuals wanting to see the story of the Wu, and them ending the season before they even became Wu would be a perfect cliffhanger. Plus, people wouldn't expect RZA to catch a homi attempt, and a lot of people don't know Ghost got shot up..including in his neck.

I'm not familiar with Power but it's funny you said this cuz the dude who plays Power in this played a dirty cop in the 50 Cent show "Power" he kinda playing the same character IMO (cutthroat NYC criminal)...they just gave him a hair unit for this show

Honestly in my opinion they shouldn't even become the wu til season 3.
Season 2 is his trail and then after the aquittal he becomes the rza and it's over.. Then in 3 he gets the guys together... Demos.. Shopping.. Protect ya neck ... Then Probably end that season getting signed to loud. Season 4 is all there first albums and odb getting shot

What’s crazy is I found a Divine interview on Dame Dash radio with that dude Kenyatta.

Divine said Raekwon was his best friend as kids and then Ghost was his main partner in their late teens.

He also said when he was out the game working a square job, he put Power and RZA in a room together to discuss business.

Neighborhood politics.

I ain’t gonna front, I ain’t really know much of the background, backstory of Wu and all its members. Between this and the Showtime doc, I’ve gotten an education forreal. It’s amazing that they became a group given all the crazy shyt that’s happened. Blows my mind. And what a motherfukkin run they ended up having. Return of the 36 been playing every day. Incredible album. I’ve been going back and listening to projects I never gave a chance before. Thank goodness for streaming.

Edit: I meant 36 Chambers but Return of 36 is great too.
