Enjoyed this last episode. Showing the relationship building with Rae and Ghost. Showing them grinding to get their song off and the realities of the game. You can have the dopest song but the industry doesn’t care until they see the co-signs and radio spins, I was legit hyped at the end of the episode. Everybody has upped their game in season 2 including the actors and the writers

These grimey ass nikkas from Staten Island would look hella out of place on a college campus… especially before the fame. But they not only do they hit the party but they’re playing beer pong and shyt? it just didn’t fit imo

It ain't far fetched at all for grimy dudes to be kicking it at a college back then. Even most PWIs had the black frats that consisted of some grimy dudes. shyt at the PWI I went to even the most tight ass uppity bookworm tight women would be kicking it with the hood ass HBCU that was 30 minutes away. My best friend went there and so I started seeing some of the dudes from there on our campus at parties too.
