Plenty of wrestlers are MAGA, but Hulk went all in headlining at the convention for Trump, coming out to the octagon with Colby Covington and whatnot. On top of the other fukkery.

Hulk was out here at Trump rallies saying shyt like crazy. At the RNC talking about leg dropping Kamala Harris. Dude really thought he was Teflon with wrasslin fans. He got booed in a blue county after doing all this shyt. The last time Hogan was here in LA, from what I remember, was Summerslam 2014 and he was cheered.
But like I said, if he returns in a red state, let’s see how it goes.

It's not just one thing. It's a lot of things that add up
Hogan hasn't been a "cool" figure in wrestling for more than a decade. What became cool was make fun him and make memes about his persona. He hasn't done a single thing that would make a crowd cheer for him in a long, long ass time.
Hogan being a blatant racist and killing the "childhood hero" image he projected to so many people hits a lot different than other episodes of this carny business being a fukked up place filled with racists and abusers.
He was in L.A coming off going full MAGA in a much more public and bigger platform than any other legend WWE has.
Taker on the other hand, is a conservative cac that fans still remember as the legend that gave them memorable moments and matches. He's certainly not ashamed to show the world his political views but he hasn't really done anything to taint those memories or directly offend the fans that care for him.

It's been 10+ years of nothing but racism, wife-swapping, Trump Rallies, shoot interviews about him fukking everyone over and being a major part in the sex and drugs culture that built the Vince McMahon everyone learnt about last year... not a single positive tale. People keep saying it's because it's in Los Angeles, but Undertaker and Triple H are MAGA as well and got cheered. People are just tired of HOEgan. From the racism to his various lies he told over the decades being exposed, people don't fukk with Hogan anymore.
