LMAO!! who did your curse out?It's levels to this shytBut those aren't it. Baggage and Checkpoint are work areas you bid on every year. Based upon seniority of course. If the airport has multiple terminals you bid on that too. Due to a complicated set of circumstances I'm stuck in baggage for the next 15 months. It's better than the checkpoint because you don't deal with the public. Well, not in my airport. We're in a basement and the actual screening area is in a pit carved out of a clearing of conveyor belts and x-Ray machines.
The best part about all this, is that the senators and reps all still get their paychecks on time. They are not effected by themselves shutting down the govt.
Also, all the senators and reps passed a BILL exempting them from obamacare.

one of the few non essential gov places that are actually open is my job, thank God for our funding. Hope they come to an agreement before it gets too bad for the others, have mad family that works in the gov

yep, essential employees DO get paid, military WILL get paid, civilian employees that aren't ESSENTIAL will not be getting paid.

No one, I've turned over a new leaf last year. Ironically this is the year I got in the most trouble. It was so bad I made LigginsTroubleWatch 2013 to see how many days I could go without getting called to the manager's office. Nine days and then my SIDA badge ended it up in Alabame.
I work for a customs brokers, so any of my shipments that deal with FDA or USDA will be delayed. So I gotta deal with jack off customers that will some how blame me. I have a background investigation for a new job on the 24th but I need my social security detailed earnings statement for the past 5 years and I can't get that now. All it entails is the SS office putting my name and SS # in a computer and hitting print but they can't do that for me now.
