How's the government shutdown going to affect you?

I'm a contractor. won't be reporting to work tomorrow so I may charge my hours to administrative tasks at the home office, if not i'll be forced to take vacation time.

Im a contractor also, but we have to work tomorrow and will be reporting to work until captial funds run out or they come to an agreement. In the event that the government stalls and funds run out Civilians (government employees) are SOL and contractors still get paid but cant report to work.

We have FY13 funds left at my job but it's only gonna cover us for a week. All our FY14 projects can't get funded and that money hasn't come..

The underlying fundamentals of our economy have made no sense for the last 5 years, and complete failure is a mathematical certainty. A government shutdown just gives the money masters an excuse to blame the upcoming collapse upon.

Yeah but that was just the summation of the 7 years prior. Jobs aren't coming back to America and the rich aren't giving the money they stole back. We're not going to get a middle class bailout.
