Ricochet was the inaugural champion for arguably the best put together wrestling show in years in Lucha Underground and super over in Japan, but he traded it in to be just another guy in the E. Same goes for Shane Strickland who was MLW's first champion. From what I've heard Keith Lee showed out recently. He's probably gonna get the same treatment too.

Keith has the best chance imo. He's what they want in a star.

You're more optimistic than me. All the Black talent is supposedly what Vince wants in a star, but they still all get jobbed out eventually.

I remember reading something about regular people being shown pictures of NXT talent on some "Which of these guys looks like a star?" and Dream was embarassingly far ahead of guys like Adam Cole - yet he's still champion like Keith Lee wouldn't wash the shyt out of him in a fight.
