I was listening to some old Goodie Mob today and I forgot how he used to smash

8-9 Cee Lo is a really great rapper.

He is the reason me and the homies came up with the "waiting for cee lo" affect.... That is when you listen to a cd of a group or collabo, and you really are just waiting the whole song for one person. Those old Goodie Mob CD's nikkas was just waiting for cee loo to rap. Every song. Khujo and Gipp and em where cool. But Cee Lo was the group.

It blows my mind seeing what he is now. Its tight, dont get me wrong, he makes dope music now. But he is Carlos from Ben Hill. To see that evolution from great rapper to Cee Lo that the world knows now is... Beyond words.

Cee-Lo is far & away one of the most overlooked & underrated lyricists in rap history. He is truly great & will not be recognized as he should be until he is gone.

He is a true artist with his words, his versatility that allows him to be on all types of songs & his singing voice.
