He's in the same league as 3000 IMO ...I honestly think Andre learned a lot from Cee Lo. Just listen to him rap on "big ol words" dude is nasty. He's just a dope songwriter overall...his solo albums and his work w danger mouse is crazy.
One of my favorites, never heard a wack verse from him.. His verse on Guess Who
i think he is a decent artist like what he did with gnarls barkley and he has proven time and time again that he can push the envelope with creativity.

Yeah bruh, sh1t blew me away. If you really listen to that cut, he kinda hints at the direction he was headed musically......whether its cee-lo the rapper or the singer/entertainer he wanted his music to have an impact. Singin was most likely his first love before he started spittin. You can REALLY pick up on it on his first solo album......cuts like Super Chicken and Getting Grown, sh1t even as far back as Soul Food.
But yeah man rap wise, Cee-Lo was a spitter not just on some rippity rap sh1t but how the content of the lyrics hit your soul, just listen to this sh1t
