:damn: Haha. I had that Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections album when I was 11 when it came out and ate off that for a while. This was one of my favorite tracks on there next to Bass Head Jazz and Medieval Times (Great Pretender) :noah:

yeah dude was EASILY an 8 or a 9. Was in my top 10 from Get Up Get Out till the end of the Still Standing CD.

Dude got "The Gift". :ohlawd:

It blows my mind seeing what he is now. Its tight, dont get me wrong, he makes dope music now. But he is Carlos from Ben Hill. To see that evolution from great rapper to Cee Lo that the world knows now is... Beyond words.

You ever think about it on some Industry Grand Design shyt? Like Cee-Lo Green is what Andre 3000 was supposed to be?

He is a solid 9 in my book. Cee-lo was a beast and I hope we can get him back in some form of his old style if that Goodie Mob album drops.

Cee-lo would have been a great artist in any generation. He's a superb rapper. Listen to Soul Food, Still Standing then Soul Machine. Rips it.

i think he is a decent artist like what he did with gnarls barkley and he has proven time and time again that he can push the envelope with creativity.

His verse on this song is one of the most incredible verses I've ever heard. I remember when I first heard it I knew he was getting the hip hop quotable in the source

Yeah bruh, sh1t blew me away. If you really listen to that cut, he kinda hints at the direction he was headed musically......whether its cee-lo the rapper or the singer/entertainer he wanted his music to have an impact. Singin was most likely his first love before he started spittin. You can REALLY pick up on it on his first solo album......cuts like Super Chicken and Getting Grown, sh1t even as far back as Soul Food.

But yeah man rap wise, Cee-Lo was a spitter not just on some rippity rap sh1t but how the content of the lyrics hit your soul, just listen to this sh1t :damn:

EVERYBODY should have heard this cut by now.....If not, peep.
