How would you book Kofi to get him to main-event level

but he'd really need an entire gimmick change. He would have to be more serious.

I don't think he's capable of that...he screams Midcarder For Life and honestly we need to go back to the days of not everybody getting the title.

There should be a set number of maineventers, if they must have Sheamus then fine, but it should be 5 set maineventers with two or three rotating out and that's it.

Hell Truth had one of the best heel runs in recent memory and delivered a solid buyrate main eventing a PPV, and he's been dropped to being a comedy character while guys like Del Frio get to stink up world title matches while not drawing a dime.

I'm not a fan of "turn him heel!" as the answer to everything... BUT...

If anyone ever needed a change in character, Kofi is it. He needs a heel turn even worse than Miz needs a face turn. If he could show that he can do anything besides jump and smile, it'd be a breath of fresh air. Would it get him to main event level? Who knows. But I'm dyin' to see him do ANYTHING different at this point. But I think a change in attitude could help him tremendously. Then they could have him interact with the upper-card dudes and see how it works out from there. I think dude is absolutely content with where he is, and he's doing better than most are- he's rarely ever gone long without the IC, US, or tag belts over the last 4 years... so he could be doing much worse. But being in an important role without a title is more valuable than having a title and doing next to nothing, and he ain't been there since 2009.

As I said in that other thread First have him fued with Troof . Have him do that kick finisher to Little Jimmy and Truth start tripping and have him attack Killings with a chair. I'm talking brutal beatdown to the point that he puts Troof on the shelve. Have him go on SD and beat up other black face "c00ns". Eventually , have him form some kind of alliance with Booker T as the GM , Mizark and some other nikka. Let them start becoming a credible stable kind of like NOD, but these nikkas all wear suits and serious about theirs. Then maybe put him in a feud with Great White, where he bashes him for the name and goes at the crowd talmabout " As a Black man, im appalled how you can rally with someone having the nickname etc pro black, malcolm x, black panthers, fight the power etc" . Have him become WHC and starts power tripping on Booker where he, Mizzark and the other nikka beat him into an oblivion. blah blah blah
