This old man should have been using executive actions to do the entirety of the First Day Agenda, which is a lot of shyt. It doesn't even matter if the courts challenge it, at least he would be shown to have some nuts and people would fukk with him more off that alone. Canceling student debt was the lowest of the low-hanging fruit and he can't even bring himself to do that, even after he campaigned on it. Should have been using the DoJ to put Trump and Republican cronies in jail too. Should have put Loeffler and Perdue on show trial. But he cares more about the stability of the status quo than winning and governing, so he's just going to bow out sadly while Republicans take over next and immediately throw out all the rules he's trying to protect. Low unemployment? People got kicked off UI months ago. That doesn't tell the whole story of the workforce, and it hasn't at any point post- Great Recession.

Wages going up? Eight Senate Democrats voted no on a $15 minimum wage. And these wages aren't exactly keeping up with inflation.

Economy? People are still worried about inflation, so bragging about that seems out of touch to most people.

Infrastructure? They spent months pointing out how BIF and BBB were tied together, and how BBB was the bigger, more important and more popular bill, only for Manchin to tank it on Fox News of all places. Bragging about BIF at this point is like bragging about how you got an A on your homework assignment when you flunked the exam, which was a bigger part of your grade.

Cutting child poverty? That's great, but the CTC has already expired, and they can't get it renewed because Manchin is against it.

Bragging about their accomplishments isn't working because they already told people this is only a fraction of what they promised, and they can't get the rest done because they stay getting punked by Manchin and Sinema.

Did Obama name his campaign slogan Medicare for all? Did private businesses start offering an ACA like program on their own but the Dems tried to act like they had something to do with it? Did the ACA benefits expire while the Dems didn't do anything about it, but tried to campaign on it anyway?

It’s crazy people calling critique “whining.” Biden is looking like a very weak president domestically. He can’t even get members of his own party to vote for his agenda. The Republican Party that he calls his “friends,” are going all in to obstruct him and going all embracing far right authoritarianism while at the same time setting up the stage to steal the 2024 election. All the promises of voting/election reform, Supreme Court reform, police reform, climate change reform, student loan reform are dead. The BBB is essentially dead. This was not what was promised a year ago and the centrist clowns here made it seem Biden will be a modern FDR. Give me a fukking break. He is a weak leader who doesn’t want to step on the GQP shoes because he has some friends on that side. Meanwhile fascism is on the rise. Months ago the Biden administration told voting rights activist that they think they can win despite voter suppression by just bringing out the vote harder. His approval ratings are low as typical with presidents but he does not excite the base the same way Obama did. Obama was charismatic and an orator plus he was young. Also the black community came out in force for him to make sure he won a second term. Biden does not make the base excited and the way things are going he maybe a one term president. Dems are gonna lose the House in 2022. And may lose the White House and Senate in 2024 to white supremacist fascist who will game the system to make sure Dems never win another election again.
