I don't disagree with the bolded. My point is 'public pressure' is just wasting time for PR. Multiple voting rights advocates begged Biden to stay in Washington to try to get a bill passed instead of coming to Georgia, but he did it anyway, which is part of the reason they skipped his speech. This was purely a waste of time for optics, and your own post seems to agree with that point.

How is he supposed to do that with Manchin and Sinema running interference for the GOP?
