I don't know about you but I'd much rather their energy be focused on voting rights legislation in a midterm year rather than a watered down version of BBB.

BBB can pass, voting rights can’t. It’s that simple. This is a waste of time to show people they tried. Activists are tired of this shyt.

So the alternative is find a way to get a voting rights bill passed. I don't know what that is, and it's clear Biden doesn't know what that is either.

But what I do know is that he shouldn't be giving some bullshyt speech that's nothing more than a photo op when he has no path forward to getting the bill passed. And that's not just my opinion. That's the opinion of several voting rights advocates who already gave him the and aren't even wasting their time going to this shyt.

Now if you have a scenario where this speech is going to suddenly warm the icy cold hearts of Manchin and Sinema and get them to at least alter the filibuster to get the bill passed I'd be more than happy to hear it.
