They don't have the votes to alter the filibuster for voting rights/gerrymandering, which would directly help them electorally, I doubt they have them to pass an abortion bill.
Even with a simple majority, Joe Mansion (not a typo) has historically been ambivalent towards abortion.
In this climate it wouldn't be a surprise for him to take the anti-women position. Even if he were to take a pro-choice one, these fools seem committed to keeping the filibuster so that's a moot point either way.
A better response to the Senate Democrats Twitter would be how? What's the proactive plan since something as mild as a gerrymandering carve out for the filibuster is too hard to pass. Apathy makes it difficult to out-organize every voter suppression scheme.
