calling her a racist seems like a bit of a leap
“The Black agenda is bigger than voting rights and bigger than the George Floyd Police and Justice Act,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said recently.
Aides also say the president has not given up on pushing voting rights and police reform bills through Congress. “Both are hugely important,” Psaki said. “The president has committed to getting them both done. He wants to sign them into law.” Pressed on why Biden has not made that happen, she noted that Congress is “a separate body. You need 50 votes to change the filibuster. You also need the majority of votes to pass legislation into law.”
The White House says Biden has gone to great lengths to help communities of color, including by appointing a historic number of minorities and by weaving racial-justice provisions throughout his pandemic, infrastructure and social-safety-net bills. For example, the American Rescue Plan — the official name of Biden’s pandemic relief law — includes debt relief for “socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers,” which includes Black, Latino and other minority farmers.
Ironic after all the tangibles talk“If people aren’t able to vote for people of their choice, then it doesn’t matter what infrastructure bill you put in now,” Butler said. “What will it matter, if they don’t have access to the ballot?”
There was hope that Dems would do something about police reform. Now it died because the GQP isnt interested but the Dems refusal to end the filibuster is also very annoying. Instead they went the route that "We tried but the GQP blocked us." That may well be true but how are you gonna energize your base to come out and vote in 2022 and 2024? Millennial and gen z black men aren't loyal to the DNC as their boomer and Gen X family members. The issue isnt black men voting republican its if they dont show up. And margins matter as we saw in in Georgia, Michigan, and Pennslyvania. Obama won in 2012 because the black community was determined to make sure he had a second term. They came out in force for Obama. This time they dont have that same loyalty to Biden if nothing is delivered. If the infrastructure bill and reconciliation bill fails Dems will lose bad in 2022. And Biden will be a one term president. Its not enough to try to win swing voters in the suburbs who are wishy washy John McCain republicans. We saw that many voted for Biden but voted GQP down ballot in 2020. So they aren't reliable. Energizing your base matters and if nothing is passed to better their lives they will be discouraged. And wont come out in force to vote.
I haven’t seen these polls. Link? Serious question.Multiple major polls have shown Biden is still at or near 50%. Which is impressive. At this point all you can do is pass the bill and hope it works. And it has to help multiple demos, not just poor people who don’t vote in midterms.

What are Republicans running on now? They already have their scotus. Tax cuts. He's lower than Obama was at this point in 2009...and we all know how 2010 went.
If I was a Dem strategist I'd be bringing up the abortion bans 24/7 since that might be the only thing that motivates Dem voters to turn out next year.

Are you always this gloomy in real life?Complaining about vaccine mandates, Critical Race Theory, the "stolen election", and generally kissing Trump's ass.
Republican voters don't ask for anything more.
I have no idea what Dems will run on though...."we would've passed stuff if it wasn't for Manchin and Sinema" doesn't really seem like it would be that effective.
