I think people that are here and entrenched in the community should have a path for citizenship.

I also think most of the people who are trying to come to this country Are doing so because we fukked up their homes, like in Haiti and most of Central America. If we aren’t doing anything to help these nations become self sustaining and independent nations—and we aren’t and have no desire too—then this is another case of a dog chasing it’s own tail.

If you really want to stop the flow of undocumented people, punish businesses who hire them—the US won’t—and enact something like the Marshall Plan in Central America and the Caribbean—the US won’t because of racism and capitalism. Deporting people isn’t solving anything because they come back.

The thing is we could solve housing issues without being cruel to undocumented people. The truth is the politicians aren’t interested in doing either. The resources are there but we are too focused fighting those near in a lower socioeconomic than looking up and fighting the people who are caking.

I am not surprised. There was a report that came out that all the signatories of Paris Climate Agreement have done nothing to abide by the agreement. It’s an empty non binding agreement. In short nothing is gonna be done about climate change. Most of the world leaders will either be dead or too old and senile when climate change starts hitting us hard in the next 15-25 years. At this point Biden is just doing what other world leader have been doing. Nothing about climate change. It will be the under 40 crew that’s gonna deal with the worse of climate change.
