Not quite. AUKUS is a good bit more coordinated than Five Eyes. The fact that Australia is getting American designed nuclear submarines put its in a far different category.

I don’t blame the French for being mad, as they lost huge defense contracts and have been shut out of this alliance, however, they’re overreacting. Pulling all of your ambassadors over this?

Anyway, its clear the US is trying to pivot to Asia over Europe. Good thing is the US has plenty of allies in the region, making China fairly isolated.
