Speak on it. Explain to us how your sys admin role has been sliced in a time with increased remote work and now a return to the office for many formerly remote workers?I usually don't have anything to say but have to speak up now since me and mine's bottom line is getting affected by the foolery going on.
Yeah, my degree is in Information Technology. And my girlfriend at the time overheard an IT manager at our school talking about trying to employ someone majoring in IT and she went up to him and gave him my contact info...so I got lucky forreal.
If you're trying to do IT support or systems admin stuff then I recommend bachelor's degree and the A+ cert. I don't have my A+ but just from experiencing of applying for jobs a lot of people asked. But the most important thing to have is experience. 2 of my post college jobs I didn't even interview for. They just looked over resume and checked my references then offered me the job...one was for $14/hr FT and the other was a little over $16/hr FT. I'm only adding those details because I don't have experience with any high-paying jobs so might have to ask someone else for that.
Been at my same job for a few years now doing basic sys admin work. Making 40k/yr in a shytty not so expensive city. But it's state government so the benefits are great. I've gotten pretty complacent not sure if it's worth leaving. What's the end goal for you guys?
Goddammit Hunter

if we lose any house or senate in 2022, you WILL hear about this fukk-up fail-son 25/8.
I never worked from home during the pandemic. I worked through it. I was fortunate to be employed during the pandemic so that didn't matter to me anyway. I live in a low cost city and I actually have a decent job compared to what's around here but I was saving for a house before the pandemic started. Price increases have been insane everywhere but the government isn't helping. The eviction moratoriums are letting folks who can pay rent not pay it which is making landlords increase rental prices for everyone else. My apartment has gone from 800 to 1100 in one year and I don't even stay somewhere nice. Not too mention that daycare costs are up (I do have a child), groceries are up, gas is up....I mean damn everything is up. And it's by design. I've always voted democrat but damn idk if it's because I'm older with more responsibility now or what but I'm starting to see what's really going on. Doesn't make sense that ever since Biden took over that gas has increased over $1 per gallon or there has been a 20% markup on groceries. I'm glad y'all can afford this but the little guys over here are hurting.
At the end of the day I'm just trying to make an honest living and provide for me and mine's and to see my bottom line affected like this hurts.
350/mo for the tax credit for your child.I've adjusted and starting working a 2nd job on the side to keep up with these increases everywhere. But I'm still going to call out what's wrong.
Goddammit Hunter

You tryna fukk or something?
