You are supposed to be one of the political smart guys.

After September, Congress won’t pass much major legislation as they go on their breaks and start gearing up for elections. That’s why the first 100 days of an administration are emphasized. After that 100 days, it’s hard to pass anything of consequence.

Biden ran on creating some form of a public option on healthcare and he has not advocated for that once in three months. He set a deadline of May 25th for the George Floyd Policing act, that’s not happening. There is a great chance none of the voting rights bills will get through by the end of summer.

All of that, “I can get things done,” talk he espoused on the campaign trail was cap because he hasn’t gotten anything done outside of reconciliation. (The Asian hate crime bill is the only other major bill)
Bingo. He said he could get Republicans to come to the table. They aren't going to work with him. They've said this time and again. Independent voters aren't going to care if ReThugs help they're going to see Biden and a Democrat Congress failing to deliver on what was promised.

Who would have been able to do all of that in this current political climate. Just wondering because we have a lot of answers about what’s wrong but people come up silent when it comes to solutions.

enough excuses. Biden campaigned on being able to get Republicans and Democrats to work together. How many times do the Republicans rejecting every major bill going to teach this Administration you have to bend Manchin and Sinema rather than an entire party who's entire goal is to obstruct you? The fact that this administration keeps ignoring what is popular and continually screw over the people who voted for them while trying to appease the party that attempted a coup is mind boggling. Biden is stuck in the 80s. Bipartisanship is dead. Pass your shyt and campaign on that. Otherwise the Republicans will when the house and Senate and Biden is done. With his stubbornness imo he already is.

Biden’s trash.

after agreeing on that, who would be able to accomplish what you want in this atmosphere? Or are we going to keep avoiding that question?

The solution is to elect more Democrats to the Senate who aren't like Manchin and Sinema. Democrats who realize that bipartisanship is not possible (by and large) with the current GOP.
Agreed.

and with that understood , we can keep beating the dead horse that Biden isn’t ideal or acknwlodge nobody is getting anything of substance done in this political landscape with the numbers as they are

but it’s more fun to beat the dead horse I guess

What are you talking about? Where did I "defend" anyone?
Biden ran on getting things done and your solution is electing senators that aren’t Sienna and Manchin.

You are defending Biden and the Dem leadership by passing the buck to 2022, which they are going to lose seats since they can’t pass any voting rights bill.

Well, Biden and the Dem leadership are trying. Republicans aren't budging. So :manny:

Like I said, the solution is to elect more sensible Democrats to Congress (especially the Senate)

The solution is to for Biden to lean on people and use the power he has. I’d rather see him go out using his strength, than on his knees pleading with sociopaths.
