Yeah, I agree.

Anyways, I was only 2 years old in 2001. The youngest 9/11 victim was born in the same year as me.

We've been there so long that the youngest troops weren't even alive when we first invaded.

It's time to pull out before we end up there another 20 years.

Just say the Afghan people are disposable then

Nobody said that. However, you can't defeat an ideology breh. The War in Afghanistan is a lost cause.

The Taliban holds more territory now than they did in 2001. So you want to go another 20 years? C'mon man.

Pretty positive we promised them and owe them more than get slaughtered but whatever floats your boat.

What would you say to an Afghani your age that may be at odds with the Taliban when they take control out of curiosity?

I would tell that young Afghan person to either stay and fight or flee to a safer country - your choice.

It's a lose-lose situation. The U.S. leaving Afghanistan is the least worse option out of a bunch of bad options. The U.S. shouldn't have invaded Afghanistan in 2001 in the first place - there was no clear plan or strategy.

The least worse option for who? You?
I realize it’s been going on since you were born and you’re bored of it or whatever but there are real world consequences and they’re not difficult to imagine. We see what the Taliban has done while they’re in power and what they’ve done as a countergovernment....

I’m sure you wouldn’t have such a flippant attitude if you had just graduated college and started a career and were about to get your head cut off and have you family slaughtered
