One of the problems for Obama was that the 2009 stimulus wasn't large enough. Biden and Dems are trying to avoid that now.

I will give you that - Dems do have to pass something else big before the 2022 midterms. Hopefully, Biden knocks some sense into Manchin & Sinema.

There’s no sense to knock into them. They get to act like this because Democrats fumbles the bag with bad campaigns in Iowa and North Carolina and in opposing Collins. That fact made these people necessary to get anything passed and so there’s no way to credibly threaten them. There’s no committee to take them off of or relief to deny them.

If the Democratic party had paid attention they would have seen how radical the GQP had become and all fallen in line behind Biden who said:

He could get Republicans and Democrats to work together. It hasn't happened wrt to a huge piece of legislation and his own party is revolting to helping poor Americans. Saying well being the most powerful person in the world and even though Trump showed how to wield it negatively I really don't have that power is a mistake that makes him look weak and aloof imo. You're telling me that the POTUS can't get his own party to all agree even after knowing how Washington works and being in office close to 50 years? His own state senators voted against minimum wage. This isn't about being a cheering for Biden though. People are being plain unreasonable right now and it pisses me off. No president, not one, has ever promised or accomplished, their entire agenda in 2 months. Most are lucky to get 50% done within 4 years. To act like Democrats are losing now when his admin has put us on track to be out of a 100 year pandemic and provide the biggest relief bill in American history is silly. It's ridiculous. People get so stuck in granular policy detail when the general sentiment is "we might be out of the house soon and I might have a nice check by then too, cool with me".

Well said. I am all for keeping nikkas honest post Trump but nikkas have put it into overdrive and are being unreasonable (for various reasons).
