We can't selectively decide to divvy up migrants and redistribute them to other states, that would fall under federal jurisdiction.

We also can't play this game and expect border patrol and other immigration agencies to still receive federal dollars. Which would make things even worse.

They aren't supposed to live anywhere, I'm in favor of limiting immigration to a specific time frame effectively letting only a certain number in during designated times. Also working with south american countries to establish extensions of US embassies to start the processing of asylum/citizenship claims within their countries before anyone starts to move towards the border.

And this is very selective of you as usual, no one has ever had a great solution to handle immigration, especially immigration at this level. Trumps policies were to hold people in concentration camps and separate them from their children as a deterrent. As you can see, that unnecessarily cruel solution also did not work.
