The candidate should speak to their voters in their district. shyt goes both ways.

Bernie just makes nap upset all the time :mjlol:

That's kinda what's happening here. Nap just beingpurposefully obtuse.

The centrists released their list of endorsements. It's center-leaning candidates that appeal to centrist voters. Bernie listed the states where progressives beat the more centrist candidate (and the progressives in those states know who he's talking about...Fetterman and Lee in PA for example). The New Dems will circle the wagons around centrists and fight for them. The progressives will circle the progressive candidates. This is a pattern for three cycles now.

Fetterman is probably the best example of appealing to progressives enough AND local political wedge issues well. But every candidate has to do both.

Interested to hear your reasoning. I doubt most people pay attention to FED chairs unless you think Powell won’t handle inflation properly.
I personally think the feds left their foot on the gas for too long which has had outsized affects on inflation coming out of the pandemic.

But that really isn't the reason for my position. It's more than by reappoiting him he did two things --knowingly or unknowingly:

1. He consigned Trump fed/economic policy
2. He can't frame the narrative that he inherited this because he chose this path as opposed to blame the previous chair and their actions for over juicing the economy.

Obviously much of this comes as a result of his advisors believing this was all transitory. So he likely would have been in this position anyway as we further stimulated an over stimulated economy that was effectively propped up by government spending.

Just pointing out that the optics don't play well.

They’re not solid points. It’s just a bunch of second guessing

What is Trumps fed/economic policy?

Powell carried on with same monetary policy we’ve had since the Great Recession
