I still use my 160gb ipod classic for music/podcasts on my commute :flabbynsick:

I installed a deck that has all of the current shyt but I use the auxiliary port because it's plug in and play, the sound, and I can still use the superior clickwheel interface to scroll through all of my shyt.

On some slightly related shyt, I hit a fukking deer coming home at 3am the other night. It just ran out of the bushes straight into my ride as I was cruising out to damn it feels good to be a gangsta:upsetfavre: fukked up the whole right side of my 2010 car. The deer got up and ran off, and secretly I was wishing the fukker had died:birdman:

So my shyt is in the shop and the insurance company has me riding around in the 2016. I go to hookup my ipod classic to listen to some football podcasts and can't find the auxiliary port anywhere. I see a slot for a SD card, and multiple USB ports, but no aux? :patrice:

After looking all over the car for 5 minutes and realizing it ain't there, I gave in and hooked the classic up through USB. All of the bells and whistles of the new car couldn't make up for the fact that I had to use their shytty interface to find all of my shyt, and that if I wanted to fastforward through a 2 hour podcast, it took 30-45 of holding down FF instead of the few seconds it takes to use the clickwheel:martin:

Sometimes I don't wanna upgrade, I like how the shyt works for me, and I don't feel like trying to find 100 different work arounds or adapters to get the same result the old shyt gave me. I don't need the latest 4K tv, or the newest car, or the latest and greatest phone....never cared for that shyt. But it always hits me whenever the old shyt I like becomes obsolete. Makes me not even want to upgrade to a new car anytime soon if it means I need to chuck the use my ipod classic.

I drove home playing Blueprint's Stole Our Yesterday song (and it took a full minute to find it using the shytty car interface)

Back when it all was simple
Before they took it all away
They sold us all tomorrow
Then they stole our yesterday

You guys are killing me in here arguing that anyone is telling you to purchase a new car so you can have bluetooth when bluetooth head units are 24 dollars on Amazon...

Homeboy said people change cars every 3-4 years? Who? My car was a 5 year loan and you think I'm getting a new car when it's paid off for a fukking aux cord? This is apple showing you they run shyt when they don't. Now bring up sales and I'll tell you nsync is better then scarface so what's really good?

Why do you guys keep coming with this lame argument that ANYONE is saying you need to buy a new car just for bluetooth ? :snoop: People buy new cars because warranties come up, cars get better gas milage, added things such as navigation / back up cameras / xm radio / bluetooth / usb charging ports etc.

People buy new cars before 5 years because they tend to get above 100,000 miles and unless you are driving a Honda Civic, that's on the back half of the cars life and costs a lot to repair transmissions, etc. 29% of auto sales in this country as of the last round up were leases, that means people get out of the cars in 3 years. On average, people are either trading in or up from their lease by the 3-5 years. You guys talking about holding onto cars are citing 2012 statistics when we were still in a recession.

why?

many ppl don't even use the aux port anyway.
my Jeep has bluetooth, it also has a USB in, my wife's car is the same.
I have wireless headphones for when I want to listen to music. and I don't use my phone when I go running or go to the gym. so why is this port so important?

it isn't....for a lot of ppl.

Only for those that want to have something to complain about. This small attachment hooks on to your headphones like its part of the cable anyway. ain't no big deal. its not like its any bulkier than most headphone jacks.
Speak for yourself don't try to group everyone in. Most people listen to music from their phone while running or at the gym. A lot of people use aux everyday. Not everyone has a newer car with Bluetooth(I do but a lot of young people don't). It's inconvenient for no reason.

they are fukking up if they do that. Like a few people said that Bluetooth shyt is annoying to connect every time you start your car. The aux is ready to play as soon as the car is started. I know it's only about a 10-20 second time delay but I'm a person that like to hear my music as soon as I turn my key and put my ride in gear. I use aux & Bluetooth in my car and at home

Threads like these lowkey separate the young people from the :flabbynsick: people on the Coli. Just because somebody else is playing music in your car doesn't make you their bytch :bryan:. What if I don't feel like looking around for songs to play while driving, and I trust my passengers music taste? Everything to y'all nikkas ain't Harlem :dame:. If thats the case, Harlem must be a trash place to live:dame:
