What are some ways you use to easily identify these low information parasites?

I’ll start.

They overuse player nicknames and sports slang in non ironic way; particularly in place of analysis.

I'm a casual fan. Never denied it. Nothing wrong with it.
Have even had it in my status under my screenname ever since i joined this site.
Mofos out there acting like their sports fanaticism is some shyt to take ultimate pride in. Mofos shy as fukk about what they majored in or what else they accomplished in life. But beat their chest every chance they get to brag about their exploits as sports fans talking about "they're passionate"

Off topic to the thread but I hate casuals in real life way more than on the seum. Had a dude at my job last week tell me he thinks Brons done and Cavs are gonna "either get swept or win a game tops" after 1 Pacers victory. Then another dude had the nerve to try and waste my time detailing hos the Thunder will get to the finals once "playoff melo" comes out

Where'd all this "Playoff ____" shyt come from anyways brehs? Outside of playoff rondo and maybe 1 or 2 other players I havent heard those kind of nicknames before this playoffs

I’m not even sure what “casual” means anymore on this board.

Because if casual is supposed to refer to people who aren’t strict fanatics of 1 particular sport, that’s probably the vast majority of people and that applies to most sports in general...since just about everyone has interest in many things.

But making someone a die-hard fan, I think this board proves, does not equate to knowing the aspects that correlate to winning. That’s for damn sure.
