Graphically it was amazing. Mesmerizing some scenes were. Dont know how I'll react watching it in 2019 though.

3d and James Cameron are the 2 reasons why it's so high up.

I think that's it.
Every other movie, you knew you could wait and get an experience just as good watching it on your giant screen HD TV at home. But this came out during the brief moment when viewers thought they were getting something better in the theater than what they could get at home.
