Are you a fan of sci-fi? How can you not see the genius of this film? I'm not even a Kubrick stan like that either. Visually it's a top 5 movie of all time and it was made in 1968 and invented many of the sci-fi themes we've seen in films and pop culture.

I just disagree with the plot lines being trash. The plot and visuals were the best part. and saw no problems with the acting

I like movies that are experiences. 2001 is an unforgettable one. You don't smoke weed anymore so your opinion on this movie is irrelevant anyway.

that dude has broke down a lot of Kubrick's movies, but I think he makes you buy most of them from his website I know his breakdown of Full Metal Jacket is on youtube somewhere. That one was pretty crazy.

You should check out Barry Lyndon, one of the most gorgeous movies ever. Kubrick filmed it completely under natural light.

I literally thought that background was painted on when I watched the movie.
