Kool G Rap pioneered the mafioso shyt but Raewkon popularized it. G Rap was never on top of the world like Wu was in the mid 90s, so Rae pushed that content to the forefront. Nas himself said he got the mafia Escobar shyt from Wu-Tang.

and how they operate, sh1t they had to endure and the dreams they've accomplished.
I walk away from a Ross record thinking "well he likes crab meats, cars and aggressive content"
And don't get me wrong, I like Rick Ross, I just expect rappers to drop the front in interviews, I still
when I see that interview where dude blatantly denied being C.O. and I still at the thought of him not knowing who the guy he got his name from is.
