I don't want to hear that shyt. Nas has never once said that the album was a concept, YOU and OTHER fans said that. When any other rapper did this they were either dead serious about it and intended for it to be interpreted that way, made their entire career of this type of rap, or made it obvious from the rip that it was a concept album. The Cool is a concept. This is just a nikka trying to emulate a style that was popular.

dude are u serious? nas was one of the first if not the first dude to start rappin' on that mafiaso shyt... then big wanted to be frank white...

there's no ross without nas, there's no jay without nas...name a rapper that he ain't influence....after it was written a lot of dudes changed they flow ask jay "fushnickens" -z

Thread starter, before you talk, make sure you do your research. None of us can vouch for NaS. Only the people that grew up around him can. A little difference between Ross & NaS is easy. Pablo Escobar Jr cosigned NaS while the real Rick Ross never cosigned Officer Ricky. Peace.

Other than Nas not perpetuating the image outside of the booth there have been no valuable rebuttals made here.

All released before IWW. Nas was following a trend with that album. I like the album, I like Nas but let's call a spade a spade.

On a side note wasn't Kool G Rap also on that Mafioso tip, before IWW?

Nas fans are crying again

"nikka; you ain't live it you witnessed it from your folks pad
You scribbled in your notepad and created your life"

:ahh:

Why single out Nas? 95% of rappers in history :duck: when they talk about moving keys. Nobody was shytting on ross for his coke raps before the CO shyt. If Ross hadn't been found out as a CO he would have gotten a pass just like every rapper ever

Yeah but Hov is one of the realist :smugbiden:
