Zion had them as the #1 seed, BI and Willie Green tore it all down in a matter of weeks.
Y’all nikkas is creating a narrative. There was a point earlier in the season when Zion missed some games and the Pelicans were still playing well without him

They were never the #1 seed long enough to even justify this blame deflection. You gotta hold all these nikkas accountable, Willie’s coaching, and BI & Zion being made out of glass

That's not deflection, that's reality. Regardless of how long they were the #1 seed with Zion leading the team, BI and and Willie can't even have the Pelicans playing .500 ball without him. This is 7 years of BI not being a winning player

Zion did not have the Pels in the #1 seed by his lonesome my guy, we all watched. They were playing very good ball to start the season all together, BI then got hurt & Zion kept them afloat for a while with a 6 game win streak but even after that there was a 4 game skid before he got hurt. Zion also missed time before in November

BI carried them to the play-in & the play offs last year, the only year in the Zion regime that the Pels made the playoffs was without him.

I’m not gon let y’all let Zion skate & put heat on Willie & BI

Team was looking like they spent their early season energy at the new year break. Then, Zion gets injured, teams figured out our Point 5 offense, our defense aren't fresh enough to switch to the perimeter, and shooting returned to the mean.

The fact that the Front office didn't go out and improve the roster is such a terrible, loser mismanagement. The only teams that can sit on a roster is when you have a dynasty. Our bigs was getting cooked in the post season. We had expiring contracts up our ass and we refused to put a sweetener to outbid some lame ass Laker Pick from 2027. 25 other teams did everything they can to improve their roster.

This was a failure on all levels, but mostly FO. Players are exactly who they always were. They started the season hot, but became that same terrible anti-anylatics teams with too many redundancy and overlapping skillset with no shooters or facilitator.

A Point 5 offense only works with excellent shooting roleplayers to create mismatches. You take away those shooting roles... It becomes a game crashing down on the obvious scorers. CJ and BI.

Nah Zion is a force multiplier so of course the role players played beyond their ability, that's what superstars do for their teams. They weren't playing great ball until Willie got his head out of his ass and let Zion be Zion and then they finally take off. They go on a winning streak despite soft BI missing time with his stubbed toe and reach the #1 seed.

Zion goes down, BI is still on his ass watching the team crater and by the time he comes back their struggling to stay above water. The whole time CJ's thumb is about to fall off, Willie has literally no offensive system in place, and BI is proving himself to be an even worse version of Toronto Demar Derozan. Literally all BI had to do was keep his team at a not worst-in-the-league pace and he couldn't do that.

Zion is better than BI so move on from BI, even though his value is the lowest its ever been, because at the end of the day I don't care about who's bag is the prettiest I care about results and I've seen enough from Mr. 7 years with a losing record

Revisionist history strong as hell itt. Zion was literally a top 3 MVP candidate before getting injured, looking like mini Shaq reincarnated bulldozing the likes of Isiah Stewart, Brook Lopez, etc. Now mofos acting like his injury (along with BI/Willie's inepitude) aint the reason they freefall in the standings. :mjlol:

Cat is always injured and Ingram being injury prone doesn’t make it much better.
