Do we have some examples of jobs where men and women do the exact same work for different pay at the same company? The same disparity should balance out between men and women some all men and all women aren't doing the same jobs, but pay should be normalized between similar work.
Seems this is comparing any man and woman who's in the top 2% regardless of the job title.
How do we know they aren't comparing the wages of a female owner of a beauty salon, with a male owner of a construction company.
When you say similar work, how do we know we aren't comparing a man getting paid more at one company than a woman is at a different company? What if one business just pays more for similar work?
It's like saying a man working at chick fil a getting paid more than a woman at McDonald's is gender inequality.
