This article is about the top 2 percent of earners. All of whom are chasing wealth. :camdup:
That doesnt mean they chase it the same way, or with the same fervor. The article doesnt even specify whether or not they are performing the same task its just the top "2% of earners"...

Define the same way? The article gives some reasons why, but most notably that women aren't in the highest paying positions.
Are you saying that enough women don't want to be CEOs, hedge fund managers and the top roles that are responsible for the gap between the top 2 percent?
Keep in mind thare are only a limited amount of these roles.
Suggesting that women who have gone to the top schools and work at these companies in the same fields and have spent their entire careers competing with these men dont have the interest or fervor is stupid.

The reason 90% of inmates are male is the same reason more men are at the top...
The reason 90%> of work related deaths are men, is the same reason there are more men at the top... etc.
Only by ignoring the cost attached to male achievement can you say "why arent females achieving the same level of success".

If there was a company actually paying women less for doing the exact same job at the exact same level as a man, they would be crucified in the media.

This is pretty self evident. This, being a patriarchal society, definitely judges women more harshly on looks. This is not saying that they are only valuable for their looks. Mutually exclusive
I have to agree on this. Its often that one uses math in a way to make numbers that seem large, but are sourced as to further push an agenda. I agree, there is a disparity, but don't do the sports way of making up dumbass stats based on data that doesn't really correlate

The same disparity should balance out between men and women some all men and all women aren't doing the same jobs, but pay should be normalized between similar work.
