How much sick and vacation leave do you accrue at your 9 to 5

All our timE is lumped together, so it's like 5 weeks of everything. I don't know how bereavement works tho. I only been here since march.

My old job I left I walked out the door with:

96 hrs sick time
2 floating holidays
303 vacation hours.

I was really racking up the time offhand not taking it cuz I knew I'd see a HUGE check when I found another job which is exactly what happened.

the bereavement days were only added to my "leave bank" in the HR system because i inquired when my wife's gpa passed earlier this year.

I don't know the exact accrual rate, but basically I get three weeks vacation a year. You can only carry over 40 hours, so at the end of the year I'm usually scrambling to take some time off just to get down to 40. It's mainly because I tend to schedule time off around a weekend, like taking off Thursday or Friday and coming back Monday or Tuesday. This was the first year in a long time that I took an actual LONG vacation (week and a half off).
